Twitter is the last chance, if you don't follow the rules, you will suffer the consequences, the warning center.

Failure to comply with the new IT law will result in penalties. The central government has warned social media platform Twitter with the last chance to recruit its own officers in India.

The center has formulated new information technology rules. All social media platforms have to work in the country according to those rules. Although Twitter has shown reluctance to enforce that law.

With the final opportunity to appoint an India-based officer on Saturday. The Center made it clear, “Twitter has given a final notice to follow the law immediately. Failure to follow Section 69 of the Indian Information Technology Act of 2000 may result in severe penalties under this Act and the Indian Penal Code.

 The controversy erupted after the 'Blue Tick' badge was briefly removed from Vice President Benakia Naidu's personal account. After this incident, the center gave an extreme warning to Twitter.

Twitter's dispute with the central government, the ruling BJP at the center, is not new. But, the removal of the blue tick from the vice president's account has added fuel to the fire. Even with the tweets of several BJP leaders, Twitter's position has worsened relations between the two sides.

A few days ago, Twitter expressed concern over the safety of workers in India and asked for three more months to comply with the new rules. A Twitter spokesman said: "We are concerned about the recent developments in India.

The free speech of those we serve is likely to be hampered. Incidentally, the Center had directed the social media platforms to implement the new rules by May 25. But even after that deadline, most of the platforms could not implement it.

But, the social media platform WhatsApp has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against the central government's new digital rules. As claimed, the new rules will force the user to violate privacy protections.
